Anthony Salem, D.D.S.
After graduating from the University of Akron with bachelor’s degrees in both biology and medical technology, Dr. Anthony Salem earned his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1986.
Dr. Salem has furthered his knowledge in the dental field through continuing education courses, including cosmetic bonding, implants and sleep apnea.
He also remains active in the dental community as a member of:
- Akron Dental Society
- Ohio Dental Association
- American Dental Association
Lana El-Shaar, D.D.S.
Dr. Lana El-Shaar was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She went to Walsh Jesuit High School and later graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. She then continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she earned her doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. El-Shaar is enthusiastic about returning back to her hometown and is privileged to serve a community which has helped raise her into the individual she has become today. Dr. El-Shaar is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive dental care for all patients.
When she isn’t working Dr. El-Shaar loves spending time with her husband Sami and her family. In her free time, she likes playing tennis, running and traveling.
